CARLO FALCIOLA
Video author and producer, photographer and journalist, I'm specialized in designing and realizing multimedia projects and products for international corporations, communications agencies and broadcasting corporations.
Born in 1965 in Italy, after I spent 3 years studying biology in Milan, I decided to dedicate myself to visual communication. I took a post-graduate degree in professional photography and I travelled for ten years up and down Africa and Alps, portraying nature and wildlife and cooperating with environmental associations and academic institutions.
In Italy, I started working for broadcasting companies, translating and adapting documentaries. In few years, I became a tv author and I wrote more then 600 hours of tv contents and short documentaries, mainly concerning science, technology and medicine.
As a journalist, I contributed to national monthly and weekly magazines and web sites, as freelance, section editor, managing editor, covering mainly science, technology and medicine topics. Currently, I’m editor in chief of a web site dedicate to reproductive biology (myivflab.eu).
Ten years ago I started working for communication companies and international corporations, producing videos, articles, photo shootings, for internal and external communication purposes.
One of the most intense experience of my working life is the short film “Turn Your Life into a Show”, (https://youtu.be/NAOxYmzFMq8) dedicate to and coproduced with Accademia del Teatro alla Scala.It has been realized by a great group of friends and starred by Evelyn Bovo, a wonderful ballerina.
